First Timer : If you are a Singapore Citizen family nucleus buying HDB for the first time, you are entitled to a $50,000 grant when you purchase a 2 to 4 room resale flat; $40,000 for a 5 room or bigger resale flat. If there is a Singapore PR in the equation, the grant is reduced by $10,000 per household.
Additional CPF Housing Grant
You may be entitled for additional CPF Housing Grant of up to $40,000, if you qualify as lower to middle-income applicants of the family grant (less than $5,000 household income per month). At least 1 of the applicants must have worked continuously for the 12 months prior to the flat application and still be employed at the point of the flat application.
First-Timer and Second-Timer Couple Applicants: If you are a first-timer Singapore Citizen applicant married or engaged to a spouse or spouse-to-be who is a second timer applicant, you can apply for a Half-Housing Grant or Top-Up Grant, as well as the Additional CPF Housing Grant (AHG).
If the second-timer applicant has previously taken a CPF Housing Grant for singles or bought a 2-room BTO flat in the non-mature estates as a single, the couple may request for the CPF Top-Up Grant for their existing flat or next resale flat.
Additional CPF Housing Grant
You may be entitled for additional CPF Housing Grant of up to $20,000, if you qualify as lower to middle-income applicants of the family grant (less than $2,500 household income per month). At least 1 of the applicants must have worked continuously for the 12 months prior to the flat application and still be employed at the point of the flat application.
Non-Citizen Spouse Scheme (NCS): If you are a citizen with a spouse who is neither a Singapore Citizen nor a Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR), you may be eligible for the Singles Grant as well as the Additional CPF Housing Grant (Singles).
You will be eligible for a grant of $25,000 if you are buying a 2 to 4 room resale flat or $20,000 for a 5 room or bigger resale flat.
Additional CPF Housing Grant
You may be entitled for additional CPF Housing Grant of up to $20,000, if you qualify as lower to middle-income applicants of the family grant (less than $2,500 household income per month). At least 1 of the applicants must have worked continuously for the 12 months prior to the flat application and still be employed at the point of the flat application.
Joint Singles Scheme or Orphans Scheme: For eligible first-timers aged 35 and above, you may receive the Singles Grant as well as the Additional CPF Housing Grant (Singles).
If you are a Single aged 35, you will be eligible for $25,000 for 2 room to 4 room resale flat or $20,000 for a 5 room or bigger resale flat. If you are buying with other single(s) under the Joint Singles or Orphans Scheme, you will be eligible to $50,000 or $20,000. Maximum 2 singles.
Additional CPF Housing Grant
You may be entitled for additional CPF Housing Grant of up to $20,000, if you qualify as lower to middle-income applicants (less than $2,500 household income per month). At least 1 of the applicants must have worked continuously for the 12 months prior to the flat application and still be employed at the point of the flat application.
Single Singapore Citizen Applicants: As a first-timer single Singapore Citizen (SC) who is 35 years old or above, you might be eligible for the Singles Grant as well as the Additional CPF Housing Grant (Singles).
You will be eligible for $25,000 for 2 room to 4 room resale flat or $20,000 for a 5 room or bigger resale flat.
Additional CPF Housing Grant
You may be entitled for additional CPF Housing Grant of up to $20,000, if you qualify as lower to middle-income applicant (less than $2,500 household income per month). You must have worked continuously for the 12 months prior to the flat application and still be employed at the point of the flat application.
Proximity Housing Grant: Families who want to buy a resale flat, to live in with or near their parents or married child may be entitled to the Proximity Housing Grant (PHG) of $20,000. Eligible singles will also enjoy a PHG of $10,000 if they buy a resale flat with their parents.
To qualify for the PHG, the HDB resale flat is in the same town or within 2km of their parents’ or married child’s HDB flat or owner-occupied private residential property.
